Our mission is to protect the lives and property of Tellico Village residents, Loudon County citizens, and visitors by delivering exceptional fire, rescue, emergency, and medical response services that meet or exceed community expectations.

This mission is achieved through fire suppression, medical response, training and education, fire prevention, investigations, rescue operations, and public safety outreach, as well as other emergency and non-emergency initiatives.

 

We are committed to promoting public safety and fostering community support through professional and dedicated service. We strive to be active participants in our community, serving as role models while ensuring the efficient and effective use of our resources. Our goal is to provide services of the highest quality that are both appropriate and impactful for the residents of Tellico Village.

Our Mission

About Tellico Village

Established in 1986, Tellico Village is a thriving community located in Loudon and Monroe Counties, Tennessee. Spanning nearly 5,000 acres along the picturesque Tellico Lake, the Village continues to grow, attracting new residents with its extensive recreational amenities and welcoming atmosphere. Currently, the community is home to nearly 10,000 residents.

Tellico Village is ideally positioned, with 16 states, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Atlantic coastline all within 500 miles. Conveniently situated just 12 miles from I-75 (Exit 81) on the western shore of Tellico Lake, Tellico Village is approximately 35 minutes from downtown Knoxville. This prime location provides easy access to shopping, University of Tennessee events, world-class medical care, and Knoxville's McGhee Tyson Airport. Additionally, popular destinations such as the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge are all within a 50-mile radius.


The community boasts an impressive range of amenities, including three championship golf courses, a yacht club with a restaurant for dining and social events, and a state-of-the-art recreational facility featuring a fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, and courts for various racquet sports. Residents can also enjoy over 100 clubs and social activities catering to diverse interests. Tellico Lake is perfect for water sports and offers exceptional fishing opportunities.

Our Location

The Tellico Village Volunteer Fire Department (TVVFD) station is strategically located at 210 Chota Road, centrally positioned within the Village. This location enables fire, rescue, and extraction vehicles, along with personnel, to respond promptly across the department's approximately 8-square-mile coverage area.
